Cheerio Bird Feeders

In Honor of Earth Day

Celebrate Earth Day with us by creating a simple, nature-themed craft for preschoolers!

Children will create their own bird feeders by stringing Cheerios onto pipe cleaners and shaping them to hang outside. This hands-on activity helps build fine motor skills while introducing young learners to the idea of caring for birds and our environment!

Although the food being used for this program is not intended to be eaten, please alert a staff member if you or your child have any allergies. We can consult the nutrition label to see if it is safe for you to participate in this program.
