Presented by Alexa Burgess. A calming, hands-on wellness experience blending Eco-Therapy education, mindfulness practices, and holistic gardening to support relaxation and overall well-being.
Participants will be introduced to Eco-Therapy (also known as Nature-Based Therapy) and learn how intentional connection with nature can support mental, emotional, and physical health.
The workshop includes a guided meditation and sensory awareness exercise using natural materials such as stones, herbs, and flowers, followed by a mindful gardening experience. Each participant will select a plant to pot while learning the basics of holistic plant care and the therapeutic benefits of nurturing living things.
Designed for all experience levels, this workshop offers a calming, creative space to slow down, reconnect with nature, and leave with a planted reminder of mindful self-care.
This workshop is facilitated by Alexa Burgess, owner of Gemini Sisters Farm in Skillman, NJ, who brings a grounded, nature-centered approach to mindful living and therapeutic connection with the land.
