Join us for an informal gathering to sit and draw. Intended for those who want to learn the basics, practice their skills, experiment with drawing materials, and meet other artists in the community.
The session begins with a 10-minute mini-lesson/introduction to drawing media, and the remaining time is for drawing from a still-life arrangement. The class will not be instructor-driven; participants are encouraged to ask questions as needed. Our session closes with an opportunity to share your work with the group.
There is no registration for this event, but space is limited and is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
If bringing your own supplies:
Any pencil, eraser, and sketchbook (suggested 9”x12” or 11”x14”) will be fine!
Optional supplies to bring if you have them:
Drawing Pencils, 4H-6B
Kneaded eraser
White rubber eraser
Tortillons or blending stumps
No supplies? No problem!
The library will have basic drawing materials available.
