Dressed as Abigail Adams, Carol Simon Levin will perform, "Remembering the Ladies", a "collective biography" highlighting influential women and events in American history.
From Adams, who famously wrote to her husband John asking that the Continental Congress "remember the ladies," Ms. Levin will look ahead to Dolly Madison and then to the Seneca Falls Convention in 1848, to the 1920 passage of the 19th Amendment granting women the right to vote, and to pioneering women politicians.
