CJHRC will provide information about budgeting, building credit, addressing credit issues, debt-to-income ratio, debt management, and CJHRC's Savings Match program.
Central Jersey Housing Resource Center (CJHRC) is a non-profit, HUD-certified information center and housing counseling agency serving the community with free programs and services for rental, pre-purchase, financial literacy, post-purchase, and foreclosure counseling. (CJHRC) partners with very low-, low-, and moderate-income households in Central New Jersey to build the knowledge, skills, and access necessary to achieve sustainable housing stability and long-term financial security.
Topics will include: creating a budget, budgeting styles, ways to build an emergency fund, building and repairing credit, credit checks, debt management, and CJHRC's Savings Match program.
