The Hillsborough Branch has partnered with the Somerset County Vocational and Technical High School to offer an informational session focused on basic home electrical knowledge. This program is designed for new homeowners, individuals experiencing life transitions, and DIY enthusiasts. It also supports seniors who are aging in place and seeking to maintain independence, budget-conscious households looking to reduce repair costs, and small landlords or property owners responsible for ongoing maintenance.
During the session, participants will learn how to safely address common electrical issues and identify simple upgrades. Attendees gain practical knowledge, increased confidence, and a stronger awareness of electrical safety. By helping community members recognize which tasks they can safely manage and when to seek professional assistance, the program promotes informed decision-making, financial savings, and safer living environments
