Preventing falls involves removing household hazards, increasing physical activity and conducting regular health checks.

 In this program, patrons will identify fall risk factors, understand how frequently falls happen in older adults, learn the potential consequences of falls, and discover ways to maintain a healthy lifestyle to lower fall risk.

They will also explore strategies for preventing falls and know the steps to take if a fall happens.
