Our nearest starry neighbor isn't a ball of fire at all - it's really an electromagnetic dynamo! Learn fun facts about our Sun and how it dominates what heliophysicists call "space weather."

If Earth's weather cooperates and it's a sunny day, we'll share views through a specialized hydrogen-alpha solar telescope that will allow us to safely observe real-time solar prominences as they leap into the blackness of space.
