Actor and musician Dennis Kobray of Meet the Musicians presents a living history program on the life, times and music of Beethoven.
Dennis Kobray portrays “the deaf genius” Beethoven, whose rebellious spirit was given free rein by the French Revolution of 1789 – he was The Revolution in music! Mr. Kobray performs excerpts of Piano Sonatas #1, 8 (“Pathetique”), 14 (“Moonlight”), and 23 (“Appassionata”) as well as Fur Elise, and recorded excerpts of Symphonies #5 and 9, Handel’s Messiah, and Bach’s Organ Toccata in d minor.
The performance is being sponsored by the Friends of the Bound Brook Memorial Library.
Will you need a special accommodation (including food allergy if applicable to the program)? If so, please contact the library and provide at least two weeks notice prior to the event date and the library will make every effort to honor all requests. Thereafter, requests will still be considered and may have less of a chance of being honored.
