This program will be presented in English and Spanish.
This summer we will teach you about an ancient drink from South America, which is prepared by mixing ice water with medicinal herbs called “Pohã Ñana” crushed in a mortar. This drink has been recognized by Unesco, the United Nations Organization for Education, Science and Culture, as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. At the end of the program you will know how to stay hydrated enjoying a very testy terere!
Este verano te enseñaremos acerca de una bebida ancestral de sudamérica, la cual se prepara mezclando agua helada con unas hierbas medicinales llamadas “Pohã Ñana” trituradas en un mortero. Esta bebida ha sido reconocida por la Unesco, la Organización de Naciones Unidas para la Educación, la Ciencia y la Cultura, como Patrimonio Cultural Intangible de la Humanidad. Al finalizar el programa sabrás cómo mantenerte hidratado disfrutando de un rico terere!
