Did you ever wonder what kind of artillery helped General Washington win the Revolutionary War? What’s the difference between a cannon and a mortar? Please join us at the Raritan Public Library during Somerset County’s History Weekend on October 10 at 1pm for a 1 hour presentation by Tim Rack. Tim is a member of the Raritan Historic and Cultural Committee and was an artillery reenactor for over 25 years, so has an extensive knowledge of historical artillery and its function on America’s battlefields. Find out how American firepower developed and influenced the outcome of revolutionary battles, an influence which continues to the current day. Please register!
