Save a Life Day is a nationwide initiative focused on preventing opioid overdose deaths by providing free naloxone, education, and important community resources.
On September 24, 2026, communities across the country are invited to participate in this free, walk-in event. In 2025, all 50 states participated, distributing more than 133,000 doses of naloxone. Somerset County alone distributed nearly 2,000 doses of this life-saving medication in a single day. No registration is required. Stop by and learn how naloxone can help save a life!
