A welcoming and relaxed space for tarot enthusiasts of all levels to learn, practice, and connect. This month's meetup will be participant-led and not facilitated by library staff as usual.
Each tarot meetup will begin with a short lesson to introduce participants to a new element of reading tarot, such as creating tarot spreads or learning about specific symbols. The rest of the time will be devoted to practicing reading tarot in a relaxed, judgement-free, and supportive environment. Participants can practice independently or with a partner or small group. Participants are welcome to bring their own tarot deck, but do not need a deck in order to attend (the library will have a limited number of tarot decks available for use). Meetups will be the second Saturday of every month and will be facilitated by a library staff member.
