Near closing time on March 25, 1911, a fire broke out at the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory in New York City. Within eighteen minutes, one hundred and forty six people were dead as a result of the fire.

2021 marks the hundred and tenth anniversary since the fire at the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory.
Archivist Steven Calco of the Kheel Center at Cornell University will be speaking about the fire, it's consequences, and the treasure trove of archival photographs, documents, oral histories, artifacts, and much more held by the Kheel Center relating to the fire.
