If you would like to participate at home, here are the materials you will need:

  • 4 cups of flour
  • 1/2 cup of baby oil
  • Small pebbles or rocks
  • Round cake pan
  • Constellation cards (print ahead of time, ideally on cardstock)
    • -OR- A piece of cardstock, pencil
  • Light source (smartphone, flashlight)
  • Push pins
  • Toilet paper roll
  • Tape
  • Small piece of styrofoam or cardboard
  • NASA’s Moon Journal (printed ahead of time, plain paper is fine!)
    • -OR- Plain white paper, ruler, pencil
