Adeline Virginia Woolf was an English writer and one of the most influential 20th-century modernist authors. She helped to pioneer the use of stream of consciousness narration as a literary device.

MARCH IS WOMEN'S HISTORY MONTH.
To commemorate the 85th anniversary of Virginia Woolf’s death, this program will provide background on the life and works of the Modernist writer, Virginia Woolf (1882-1941).
The program will focus in particular on her 1925 novel "Mrs. Dalloway" as a lens to understand her Modernist style.
Presenter: Jessica Brent has a doctorate in English and Comparative Literature from Columbia University and currently teaches English courses at Raritan Valley Community College.
