Chester Twp. Resident Carlotta G. Holton, BA, MA, is a national award-winning author, journalist, editor and educator who has written for the Jersey Weekly section of The New York Times, The Record of Bergen County, The Star Ledger and numerous other newspapers and magazines. Her three novels and two anthologies are written in the Psychological/Historical Horror genre. She is also the author of two nonfiction works and has taught creative writing and journalism at two area colleges. She has guested on radio stations in the USA as well as Canada and the United Kingdom.
She is the recipient of more than 90 awards including from the National Press Women’s Association, The American Heart Association, Halloween Book Festival, Hollywood, CA; finalist in The National Best Books Award sponsored by USA Book News: Best Horror Anthology, New England Book Festival and many other venues.
