Historian Jim Davidson gives a lively talk on what life in the Sourland Mountains was like in earlier days.
Grisly murders, missing persons, and bootlegging are only some of the wild tales of the Sourland Mountains. Long known as a hideaway from the law and isolated from the towns nearby, many people in the Sourland mountains subsisted by stealing from their neighbors in the adjoining valleys or even their extended families. Hear the tales and even some cool ghost stories of the mountain.
