Learn all about the brain and how it works in this interactive activity series for kids. These programs will be hosted by Brain Project, an organization established by Hillsborough High School students who are planning to work in the field of Neuroscience! These sessions will allow attendees to explore the brain and its functions through fun hands-on activities.
Session Topics:
July 18 at 12pm: Create your very own 3D brain hat to take home! You will not only learn about the brain but have a stylish hat to show off your brain.
July 29 at 5pm: Tasty Neurons - Our brains are made of small parts called neurons – you will build your own tasty neurons, showing off your knowledge and having some sweet treats too!
August 1 at 12pm: Learn about the brain and how it is important to have a growth mindset when doing new things through storytime and an activity!
August 8 at 12pm: Munch on some snacks while writing letters for hospital patients, people at nursing homes, and other areas and show them that they are loved.
