Looking for fresh inspiration or just some fun, free supplies? Join us for our Craft Supply Exchange! Discover tables filled with arts and crafts materials for all ages, generously donated by fellow makers. Whether you’re hoping to spark a new project, try a different medium, or simply meet other creative folks, this is the perfect place to explore. Bring supplies to share if you’d like, but donations are not required, everyone is welcome to participate! Come browse, chat, and leave with some “new-to-you” treasures.
Drop-off details:
Bring any items listed below to the Circulation Desk between Monday, July 20 and Monday, August 24. All donated items should be new or gently used. If your items are loose or not in any packaging, add all parts to a zip lock bag or container to keep them together.
Items accepted include:
Glue, Mod Podge, tape, glue guns, glue sticks
Colored pencils, crayons, markers, paint, ink, ink pads, chalk, glitter, washable markers/paint, calligraphy tools
Paper, notepads, sketchbooks, drawing paper, watercolor paper, canvases, scrapbook paper, construction paper, cardstock, envelopes
Brushes, scissors, rulers, stencils, paper punch
Fabric, yarn, ribbon, thread, felt, embroidery supplies, knitting/crochet tools, quilting tools
Beads, wire, buttons, jewelry findings
Fake flowers, craft sticks, googly eyes, sandpaper, pipe cleaners, wooden items
Arts and crafts organizational supplies, small bins/baskets, disposable cups
Instructional materials: patterns and books, tie dye kit, holiday supplies
We cannot accept the following:
Previously opened or partially used bottles or aerosols of paints or glues
Anything that would need to be disposed of at a hazardous waste disposal event
Any items with an odor of smoke or mildew or that are visibly dirty
