In this acclaimed American indie from writer-director Bo Burnham, thirteen-year-old Kayla (a remarkable performance from newcomer Elsie Fisher) endures the tidal wave of contemporary suburban adolescence as she makes her way through the last week of middle school – the end of her thus far disastrous eighth grade year – before moving on to high school. Classified as "a masterpiece" by The London Evening StandardEighth Grade earned a whopping 99% positive rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Runtime: 1h 33m. Rated R.
