Step back in time and discover the crucial role the New Jersey Militia played during the American Revolutionary War. This engaging live program will bring history to life as we explore how these citizen-soldiers dressed, what they carried into battle, how they fought, and how they supported General Washington’s Continental Army. Participants will have the rare opportunity to see and authentic-style items used by colonial militiamen. Learn about their training, the challenges they faced with pay and supplies, their encounters with Tories in Hunterdon County, stopping the London Trade and American privateers. Please register!
