Learn to create your own comics with graphic novelist Mike Dawson!

Participants will enjoy a colorful, funny, and engaging slideshow presentation teaching them all about how comics work. They will then create their own comics based on the principles they have been taught. Children will design their own characters and tell a short story using the language of comics. At the end of the hour they will have their own comic book to take home with them! 

Presented by graphic novelist Mike Dawson, author of "The Fifth Quarter".
