Forensic land title expert Joseph A. Grabas, will discuss the development of land acquisition, ownership and development from 1664 to date in Somerset County.
Land Ownership was the basis for success at the agrarian genesis of Somerset County. Farming, mining, millwork are all products of the land and geography. Forensic land title expert Joseph A. Grabas, CTP, NTP will chart the movement from colonial landownership to post war suburban homeownership in the County of Somerset, NJ. Through deeds, maps and historic aerial photography Grabas will chart the evolution of land use and its importance to the growth and progress of the “Middle County” in New Jersey, revealing the hidden history in the land records.
