Maloney will present her favorably- reviewed, debut novel, "A Matter of Chance."
Released in April, 2018, "A Matter of Chance" tells the story of a mother's long and arduous search for her young daughter who disappears from a Jersey shore town.
US Weekly magazine selected "A Matter of Chance" as a spring/summer trending book. Maloney's book has been receiving five star rave reviews on Amazon and Goodreads. Booklist called it a “literary thriller.” Foreward Reviews described it as a “masterful dramatic mystery.”
Maloney will speak about the writing process, what inspired her novel’s themes, and her research trip to Germany as she studied the art of Kaethe Kollwitz. She will be selling and signing copies of "A Matter of Chance."
Julie Maloney is a poet and writer and founder/director of a non-profit international organization called WOMEN READING ALOUD.
