The Masterwork Women's Ensemble is a 24-voice chamber ensemble featuring a select group of experienced singers from the renowned Masterwork Chorus, based in Chatham, New Jersey.
This event is sponsored by the Friends of the Bridgewater Library.
This ensemble, conducted by Carol Walker (Assistant Director and long-time accompanist for The Masterwork Chorus), will present a varied program of a cappella and accompanied choral music designed to please all tastes, ranging from classics by the masters, including Bach, Handel, and Mendelssohn, to American and Canadian folk music, haunting contemporary works, jazz standards, and pop favorites, including George Harrison's "Here Comes the Sun." In short, it's everything from Bach to Beatles!
