Rosanne Vita Nahass presents Water Fantasies for piano, a unique concert with images, commentary and performances of selected masterworks by Beethoven, Chopin, Liszt, Ravel and Debussy.
This event is sponsored by the Friends of the Bridgewater Library.
Water Fantasies for Piano is a unique concert with images, commentary and performance of selected masterworks by Beethoven, Chopin, Liszt, Ravel and Debussy. Composers have often been inspired by water and whether intentionally or not, evoke watery images that sometimes allow us a glimpse into their own inner world.
Rosanne Vita Nahass MD, former Pianist-In-Residence at the Zimmerli Museum and retired board certified internist, is noted for her fusing of music and the visual arts. She has been described as “a performer of expressive power and outstanding musical clarity.” Rosanne Vita Nahass no longer practices medicine and devotes herself fully to music. She truly believes music is a healing art and is essential to our humanity.
