Nick Arrechea is a graduate of the esteemed jazz studies program at William-Paterson University, having specialized in small ensemble and solo performance.
This event is sponsored by the Friends of the Bridgewater Library.
Studying solo classical piano alongside his jazz studies, he already makes for a capable pianist. Alongside his playing, Arrechea teaches piano to a wide range of age and skill under Ben Hyman Music LLC, a teaching group based in northern New Jersey. Realizing the musical legitimacy of nearly every composition he hears, Arrechea is never negligent to exclude any music due to its source. Fusing the music of pop-culture into the techniques of jazz and classical, Nick Arrechea makes for an innovative performer and teacher.
