Christine Lutz is the New Jersey Regional Studies Librarian and Head of Public Services in Special Collections and University Archives (SC/UA), Rutgers University-New Brunswick. She curates the Sinclair New Jersey Collection, the largest and most comprehensive collection of printed materials on New Jersey in the state, and one of the premier collections of its kind in the country. She also oversees the public services operations of Special Collections and University Archives, including remote reference services and the New Jersey Reading Room. Lutz's research interests encompass New Jersey history and culture, with a focus on music scenes. In 2015 she co-founded the award-winning New Brunswick Music Scene Archive in SC/UA. She is also interested in primary source instruction and critical pedagogy in archives and special collections.
