Using the free online platform Codecademy, the class will work along-side each other and librarian Lisa Cassaly to learn the basics of the coding language HTML.
"Introduction to Coding for Adults" is a two part series for learning the coding languages HTML and CSS. Registrants are strongly encouraged to attend both sessions as the lessons build upon one other.
Please bring a laptop to work on. If you do not have a laptop, a few will be provided. No special software is required for this workshop, but an email address is necessary to create a free account on the website Codecademy.
Will you need a special accommodation (including food allergy if applicable to the program)? If so, please contact the library and provide at least two weeks notice prior to the event date and the library will make every effort to honor all requests. Thereafter, requests will still be considered and may have less of a chance of being honored.
