SCLSNJ
The program is sponsored by the Bound Brook Shade Tree Commission.
Over 150 pairs of Bald Eagles nest in NJ, Peregrine Falcons have re-occupied
the cliffs of the Palisades, and a Sharp-shinned Hawk has been hunting
songbirds at your feeder. Learn about these magnificent animals and their lives.
Following the program, a tree will be planted in the Old Presbyterian Graveyard; children are invited to help with the planting. Seedlings will be available free of charge for people to take and plant at their homes. The seedlings are part of the Tree Recovery Campaign administered by the NJ Forest Service.
Will you need a special accommodation (including food allergy if applicable to the program)? If so, please contact the library and provide at least two weeks notice prior to the event date and the library will make every effort to honor all requests. Thereafter, requests will still be considered and may have less of a chance of being honored.
