Fiona Tyndall is a recording artist and vocalist focused on traditional Irish language, culture and song.
In this celebratory performance for St Patrick’s Day, Fiona will perform many beloved favorites, including "The Fields of Athenry" and "Danny Boy."
Fiona grew up in Co. Clare, and lived in Ireland until 2000 when she moved to U.S.A. Her dedication to the Irish language and her work ethic can be seen in her first recording, Déirín Dé, a collection of traditional songs in the Irish language.
Her new EP New Frontiers is a collection of well-known Irish songs that have been rearranged and infused with creative and intricate instrumental and vocal harmonies, recorded with Fiona’s daughters.
Fiona has developed a number of shows blending Irish and Scottish music, including Shamrock and Thistle.
