In June 2021, David Ward spent 9 days in the Pacific Northwest making images of mountains, waterfalls, temperate rainforests, sailboat on Puget Sound, Pacific coast sunsets, and Bald Eagles & Great Blue Herons in an all-out feeding frenzy like nowhere else.
In July 2019, he spent 9 days in Alaska, 5 of which were spent camping with 70 or more Coastal Brown Bears in a private, uncharted property on a bay along the southern coast. The next 4 days were spent up Mt Denali, which was incredible. Flying back through Seattle, he also spent another 6 days, 2 of which were in Mt. Rainier National Park.
David Anderson Ward is an award winning landscape/floral/wildlife/cityscape photographer from Hillsborough, New Jersey.
His "Musk Ox Image" from his trip to the top of Quebec, 1000 miles north from Montreal, in 2017 was published in "The Universe of Color Photography" magazine Issue #5, May 2022.
