This month's fantasy title is "The Birthday of the World and Other Stories" by Ursula K. Le Guin. This discussion will be virtual and will be moderated by Bridgewater library assistant Carol Polhemus.

In "The Birthday of the World and Other Stories," renowned writer Ursula K. Le Guin has created a provocative, ever-evolving universe filled with diverse worlds and rich characters reminiscent of our earthly selves. This book is a collection of eight brilliant short works, including a never-before-published novella, each of which probes the essence of humanity.
All participants should read the short story "Paradises Lost" and then choose one or more additional short stories to read.
