The Poorhouse Pickers will play acoustic Americana, with a special love for those singer-songwriters who have a healthy understanding and appreciation for the folk and country music of their roots.
This folk and country trio are song prospectors, digging deep into the rich vein of Americana music from the last 60 years and bringing it to life in three-part harmony. The Poorhouse Pickers are Bob Cole (vocals, guitar), Marvin Perkins (vocals, dobro, pennywhistle, harmonium), and FiL Wisneski (vocals, banjo-uke, 8-string uke, mandola, harmonica, autoharp).
Will you need a special accommodation (including food allergy if applicable to the program)? If so, please contact the library and provide at least two weeks notice prior to the event date and the library will make every effort to honor all requests. Thereafter, requests will still be considered and may have less of a chance of being honored.
