New Zealand is home to incredible activities worthy of your bucket list, so join long distance hikers, educators & writers Patrice & Justin La Vigne to be transported across the world. Patrice is also the author of "Between Each Step: A Married Couple’s Thru Hike on New Zealand’s Te Araroa", the first American trail/travel memoir about Te Araroa, which released in November 2020. This workshop is for anyone who may be planning a future trip or wants to dream/fantasize about a trip when the world opens back up, or just wants to relive their own New Zealand trip.
About Our Instructors Patrice and Justin La Vigne
Patrice and Justin La Vigne are freelance writers, whose work has been featured in Backpacker, Outside, REI Co-Op Journal and more. They also have worked for Leave No Trace as traveling trainers. Collectively, they have hiked more than 12,000 miles and are close to their goal of visiting all the National Parks and climbing all the state high points. When not on a trail or on the road, the couple calls a dry cabin outside Denali National Park home.
