For National Poetry month, we'll share selections from novels in verse and poems. Share favorites or get ideas for something new to read. Then use a Japanese bookbinding technique to make a journal.

Supplies:

• thin cardboard (like from cereal box) or posterboard
• sheet of colorful or decorative paper 
• a few sheets of writing paper
• hole punch 
• glue/glue stick
• yarn or thick string 
• optional: large embroidery needle, or scotch tape
