The problems with using fossil fuels start with extraction. You will "mine" chocolate chips out of cookies to demonstrate the effects mining can have on habitats.

Materials Needed: 

• Chocolate chip cookies
• Toothpicks
• Paper clips
• Paper plates
• Pencil
• White paper
