Artists will be inspired by the intricate, patterned beauty of traditional Costa Rican oxcarts, and learn to create their own patterned works.

Aspiring artists will use different types of mediums to create outstanding works of art.
Artists will need:
A Pencil
3-5 Circular Objects of different sizes. For example, a quarter, a CD, a jar lid, a quart container, and a coaster.
Colored Pencils Or Markers Or Paint. If using paint, be sure to have water to clean your brushes.
Scissors
This Costa Rican Wheel Pattern printed out.
For this project, you will need room to turn your work around while you work. Make sure you have plenty of space.
Artists will be given the opportunity to show off their work at the Manville Library to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month.
