If you would like to participate at home, here are the materials you will need:

Elephant paste materials list: 

• Empty plastic bottle or a clear cup (make sure to get parent’s permission)
• Dry yeast (found in the baking section of the grocery store)
• Warm water
• Liquid dish soap
• Hydrogen peroxide
• Measuring cups 
• Measuring spoons
• Large tub or tray (baking sheet will work nicely) to catch the foam
• Food coloring (optional)

Mini-Volcano experiment: 

• Flour
• Salt
• Cooking oil
• Warm water
• Plastic water bottle
• Dishwashing detergent
• Food coloring
• Vinegar
• Baking dish or another pan
• Baking soda
