Documentary of world-wide phenomenal musician Aretha Franklin recording her live best-selling gospel album "Amazing Grace" in January 1972.
Franklin performs in the Los Angeles-based New Temple Missionary Baptist Church backed by the Reverend James Cleveland and the Southern California Community Choir. In attendance are Mick Jagger and Charlie Watts of the Rolling Stones, as well as members of Franklin's family, as well as the local congregation and community who worship alongside her. Directed by Sydney Pollack and finished by Alan Elliott. ~ Rovi
