Did you know that dogs like listening to stories as much as kids do?
Registration required and begins February 21
Registration in-person or by phone only
Come to the Bridgewater Library for Tail Waggin' Tutor, where children will have the opportunity to practice their reading skills by reading a story to Marilla the Therapy Dog. Each child will have 10 minutes to read. Therapy Dogs International (TDI) is a volunteer organization dedicated to regulating, testing and registration of therapy dogs and their volunteer handlers for the purpose of visiting nursing homes, hospitals, other institutions, and wherever else therapy dogs are needed.
Will you need a special accommodation (including food allergy if applicable to the program)? If so, please contact the library and provide at least two weeks notice prior to the event date and the library will make every effort to honor all requests. Thereafter, requests will still be considered and may have less of a chance of being honored.
