A conversation about the life and work of sociologist, civil rights activist and writer, W.E.B. Du Bois, led by Dr. Randall Westbrook.
W.E.B. Du Bois, was the first African American to earn a Harvard PhD, founder of the NAACP, and impresario of the famed Harlem Renaissance period. Presented by Dr. Randall Westbrook, author and editor of Education and Empowerment – the Essential Writings of W.E.B. Du Bois; Du Bois at 150 – Reflections on an American Scholar Provocateur; and Bitter Allies – the Collected Correspondence of Booker T. Washington and W.E.B. Du Bois.
