Each tarot meetup will begin with a short activity to introduce participants to a new element of reading tarot, such as creating tarot spreads or learning about specific symbols. The rest of the time will be devoted to practicing reading tarot in a relaxed, judgement-free, and supportive environment. Participants can practice independently or with a partner or small group. Participants are welcome to bring their own tarot decks, but do not need a deck in order to attend (the library will have a limited number of tarot decks available for use). Meetups will be the third Thursday of every month and will be facilitated by a library staff member.
LOCATION INFORMATION: Tarot Meetup will take place at Unitarian Universalist Congregation (UUCSH), located at 123 E. Cliff Street in Somerville. Parking is available in the parking lot behind the building. Enter through the backdoor and head downstairs to the multipurpose room.
