Mahjong Meetup

Join us at the library to play friendly games of mahjong and connect with other players. Beginners welcome!

Interested in trying out mahjong for the first time? Just started playing and looking for a welcoming space to play?  Join us at the North Plainfield library for a mahjong meetup every other Thursday evening!

This is a friendly, non-competitive environment for beginners and more experienced players alike to have fun while practicing this exciting game. 

No mahjong experience is necessary. Beginners will have the opportunity to get familiar with the rules and strategies of American rules mahjong while they play and ask questions from more experienced players.

More experienced players will have the opportunity to connect with other players and share what they know while playing a friendly game.
