Chalk the Walk at the Somerville Library

Grades K-8

Join us at the library for Chalk the Walk, a fun and creative outdoor program where kids can decorate the walkway leading into the library with colorful chalk art.

We’ll have music playing, bubbles floating, and plenty of space to let your imagination run wild! As a sweet bonus, kids who help decorate will receive a popsicle treat (while supplies last). Children must be accompanied by their caregiver. This event is weather permitting. 

This program will be outdoors, so please dress accordingly and consider things such as sunscreen.

I freely and knowingly assume the potential risks involved with this program. If there are any issues that will affect my participation in this event, if a special accommodation needs to be made, or if I have any relevant allergies, I will speak with a member of the library staff about the issue before participating.

I do hereby waive, release and hold harmless the Somerset County Library System of NJ, its officers, sponsors, supervisors, and employees for any injury that may be suffered in the normal course of participation in this program and the activities incidental thereto, whether the result of negligence or any other cause.
