This talk will be presented by Kristen Gray, and explores how some Revolutionary War monuments were created and how those choices shaped the stories we inherit today.

Learn about monuments of Somerville, relating to the Revolutionary War, in honor of Rev250. The lecture also looks more broadly at how monuments are made, using local Somerville examples to reflect on who is remembered, who is not, and what that can tell us about our past.
