In this program, Rachel Mackow of Wild Ridge Plants will share how to choose the right native plants for your garden and landscape.

Native plants bloom all season long in an incredible array of colors. They draw delightful pollinators – butterflies, hummingbirds, and more – to our perennial gardens. Whether your land is sunny, shady, moist, dry, in
between or all of the above, there are suitable native plants that will thrive. Rachel will also touch on native plant garden projects – for 1 or 2 people on a budget as well as larger scale wildflower endeavors.
Rachel Mackow is co-owner and co-founder of Wild Ridge Plants, a native plant nursery located in Warren County, NJ. She and her husband, Jared, focus on growing native open-pollinated wildflowers, trees, shrubs, and more in their all-natural, chemical-free nursery. Additionally, they offer consulting services for land stewardship, gardening, and botany.
