Larissa Danowitz lives and works in South Jersey and is known for her large scale murals painted both as private commissions and for the Philadelphia Mural Arts Program. She is an advocate for art. Additionally she teaches high school art classes, workshops and lectures on collaborative mural projects and their impact on communities and schools. Her collection of works include over 30 murals and her career has been influenced by mentor Meg Saligman who was named as “one of the ten most influential American muralists of the past decade” by Public Art Review.
