Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands

The Galapagos Islands are located approximately 600 miles, west of the coast of mainland Ecuador in the Pacific Ocean.The only way to travel from Ecuador to the Galapagos Islands is by plane.

Join NJ Audubon Associate Naturalists and photography enthusiasts Becky and Phil Witt for a virtual tour of Ecuador.

We'll start on the mainland for a taste of the Amazon rain forest and the Andes. Then we'll take a flight to the middle of the Pacific to see all that inspired Darwin's theory of evolution on the Galapagos Islands.
